Integrating permaculture, holistic health, and social justice at our intentional community & resource sharing center. |
Hello hello!
I am so glad to have found your site! I am very interested in cooperative living and I would like to set up a time to come meet in person and discuss all the questions and curiosities I have.
Namaste,
Ginny
Ginny,
do you live in Lawrence? You can email us at cosmicbeautyschool @ gmail.com to set up a visit time. A good resource for coop living is “Creating our Lives Together” and “Finding Community” both by Diana Leaf Christiansen.
We host public events sometimes if you want to be on our emailing list- email us your email.
Best,
Shannon
Hello,
I’m working with an artists collective in Arizona right now, and we’re checking in with various groups through Slingshot’s Radical Contact List.
We just started an art and activism ‘zine and we’ve got it posted in both readable and print PDF versions here:
http://zinelibrary.info/dumpster-union-dispatch-1.
And in html: http://www.hungryknife.com/iddu/dudi1/dud_i1.html.
Please check it out and let us know what you think! We’re not sure if we want the ‘zine to stick with local news or what, but we’ve been talking about making the next issue about prisoners and the Prison Industrial Complex so we’re looking for feedback and comrades to see what direction we can take our work.
Thanks and take care!
–Alex
I am enjoying watching your video presentation. I have had a question for a long time now, I have noted others using newspaper in their gardens for various reasons, and the question is, “What happens to the ink on the newspaper? What is the ink made of? Does this not pollute the soil?”
Thank you for your response in advance.
I am very interested in what you are doing and applaud your efforts. I am interested in living in a cooperative living arrangement based on as much self reliance in energy and food production as possible. My main focus of late has been on reducing my reliance on the automobile using a bicycle for the majority of my transportation and developing human powered transportation. I am also assisting a high school with a solar assisted car project. As much as I love Lawrence, I have too much going on in Kansas City and am interested in finding or forming a community here. I would like to visit sometime and learn more about you project.
Thanks Terry, would you like me to add you to our email list?
