Do you have space for a fellow traveler on the nights of September 15th and 16th? I’d be arriving very late on the 15th via Amtrak. I used to live in Lawrence, but I’ve been living in Japan, and I’ll be passing through Lawrence during a cross-country visit. My ex-wife (Malgorzata Stamm) still lives in Lawrence and offered to put me up, but it’s probably not a good idea. I can afford to stay in a hotel, so if it’s not convenient, no problem. I’d like to start an intentional community where I live in Japan, but land here is REALLY expensive. If you need a character reference, Boog Highberger knows me (it’s been a few years though). So does Dave Strano, but we didn’t get along very well…. Anyway, I’d be willing to pay $40 a night AND do cooking/cleaning.
